Jackson is a detail-oriented current pro pitcher that is well-known as a flame thrower with the ability to throw 100mph. He is a Pepperdine Alumnus and went to Redlands East Valley HS. Drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 35th round of the 2012 MLB June Amateur Draft and the Toronto Blue Jays in the 15th round of the 2015 MLB June Amateur Draft from Pepperdine University (Malibu, CA).

Mahki Backstrom, a former collegiate baseball player drafted by the Atlanta Braves, brings over a decade of coaching experience to the field. His extensive background in both playing and coaching has equipped him with a deep understanding of the game. Mahki's coaching philosophy emphasizes skill development alongside fostering a supportive and encouraging environment. He has worked with players of all ages and skill levels, earning a reputation as a highly respected instructor in the baseball community.

Michael McFarland

Former Collegiate Ballplayer and Cypress native who fell in love with the process of Strength Training & Conditioning, Cardiovascular Endurance, Muscular Hypertrophy, along with Rehabilitation. Degree in Kinesiology. ISSA Certified Personal Trainer. CPR/AED Certified. Specializes in Customized Exercise/Workout Programming, Nutritional counseling, 1-on-1 Personal Training, Group Training, Muscular Hypertrophy, Strength and Conditioning, and Cardiovascular/Endurance Training.

Braster Carr

Braston is a certified personal trainer/ strength coach through ISSA. Originally from Northern California, he grew up around the fitness industry along side both of his parents. He played football and wrestled throughout college. He also know the in’s and out’s of the action sports world – wakeboarding, snowboarding, skating, skiing and motocross. His background revolves around strength & conditioning and functional exercise. He has a passion for the d'Arnaud Athletics community and wants to provide wellness and fitness to all.

Isaiah Moreno

Isaiah specializes in hitting and catching. He was born in Bellflower, grew up playing pony baseball at ELB, and attended Compton college in 2022-2023. Since then, Isaiah joined Zone 22 LA and will be playing independent professional baseball in Salem Oregon in the Mavericks league.

Brandon Bantz

Former MLB Catcher. A native of Arlington, Texas, Bantz attended Mansfield High School. He played college baseball at Dallas Baptist University. In 2008, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod Baseball League. He was selected by the Mariners in the 30th round of the 2009 MLB Draft. Bantz was called up to the majors for the first time on June 5, 2013.

Braden Murphy

Brady is a former D1 Shortstop that Led UNLV in Mountain West Conference hitting and OBP, 8th and 9th respectively in the conference. Played SS for the Perfect Game National Champions at Cypress HS. Division 1 CIF Champion, 3 year starter, 2 time All-League, 3x league champion, 2018 Quarterfinalist, 2019 Empire League “All Star”

Caleb Turner

Caleb is a Right-Handed Pitcher from Huntington Beach who attended High School Norco HS. In 2023 he played for UC Riverside and he pitched 35.0 innings pitched across 18 appearances with two starts, Earned the win with 4.0 scoreless innings in 6-5 win at USC (3/1), 2.2 scoreless innings in two appearances against Cal State Fullerton (4/14, 4/16).

Junior Alarcon

Junior Alarcon is a lead performance trainer at d'A. He works with current pro ballplayers during their offseason along with countless high school and college players in the local community. Junior has a masters degree in exercise science and he is currently the strength and conditioning coach at Marina HS. He spent 5 years at Cerritos College as their lead performance trainer, 2014-17 seasons as an assistant coach at Long Beach Poly High, while coaching at Golden West College from 2018-19.
